The Palace of La Monin Bia, Cote d’Ivoire
It is ideally located at the top of a hill in Ayamé’s peaceful village on the South-East of Cote d’Ivoire.
Just two hours away from Abidjan, the Monin Bia Palace offers you a spectacular view of Lake La Bia.
This building has 7 rooms and a presidential suite, a French-style garden, it was believed to be Versailles at the time of Louis XIV.
The Palace features a conference room, ground-garden level in a row of living rooms leading to an incredible dining room table that seats up to 80 people.
The Monin Bia has a theatre, its own chapel and a reception hall mounted by a 21-meter-high dome.
Master Dominique Kangah was the owner. He was an international lawyer and was also that of President Mobutu of Zaire (current Congo Kinshasa). A man of taste who worked to ensure that this jewel is maintained even though he is no longer from this world.
